ProposalCreation security and how we handle your data
Proposals carry your prices, your margins and your clients' plans. This page explains in plain words how ProposalCreation protects them, who can see them, how long we keep them and how you take them with you.
Your documents stay yours
We do not train AI models on your proposals, briefs, RFPs, content library or pricing. The AI uses your material only to write and edit documents for your own workspace. Your proposals are not shared with other customers and are never used to improve drafts for anyone else.
Encryption in transit and at rest
Every connection to ProposalCreation, including the tracked links your clients open and the pages where they sign, uses encrypted HTTPS. Stored data, including proposals, attachments, uploaded past proposals and signed documents, is encrypted at rest. Backups are encrypted as well.
Access you control
Access starts with your account and the roles you assign.
- Every account signs in with a verified work email and a password, or with SSO on Enterprise.
- Growth adds basic roles, so not everyone can change shared templates.
- Business adds approval rules, so discounts above your threshold need a manager before sending.
- Enterprise adds custom roles that decide who can create, edit, approve, send and change the price catalog.
Single sign-on with SAML
On Enterprise, your team signs in through your identity provider with SAML. When someone leaves and their company account is disabled, their access to ProposalCreation ends with it.
Client access to proposals
Clients open proposals through a unique tracked link. Each link opens only the proposal it belongs to, and signers see only the documents they are asked to sign. You can withdraw a link at any time and the proposal stops opening.
Audit log
Enterprise records who created, edited, approved, sent and deleted proposals, and who changed prices, templates or roles. The audit log can be exported for internal reviews.
Signature audit trail
Every signed proposal carries an audit trail certificate with signer names, email addresses, timestamps and the signing sequence. Signatures are legally binding electronic signatures under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA. See how it works on the e-signature for proposals page.
Data retention settings
Enterprise sets how long proposals, drafts and pasted briefs are kept. Items older than the chosen period are removed on schedule, without manual cleanup.
Pasted RFPs are treated as data
When you paste a brief or upload an RFP, the AI reads it as data to answer, never as instructions to follow. Text inside a document cannot change how the product behaves or reach other parts of your workspace, and we do not open links found inside pasted content. What the AI sees
The AI sees the brief, the RFP and the content library blocks needed for the document you are writing in your own workspace. It does not see other workspaces, and its output is stored only in your account.
Export your data
Export any proposal as PDF, including signed copies with their audit trail. To receive a full export of your workspace, write to [email protected] from the email address of the account owner.
Delete your data
You can delete individual proposals at any time. To delete your whole workspace and account, write to [email protected]. We confirm by email when the deletion is complete. Cancel anytime and export everything before your paid period ends.
Payment details
Card payments are handled by a payment operator on its own secure checkout. Card numbers never pass through ProposalCreation and are not stored in your workspace.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email [email protected] with Security in the subject line, a description and the steps to reproduce it. Please do not access data that is not yours and allow reasonable time for a fix before public disclosure. We confirm receipt and keep you updated until it is resolved.
Security for larger teams
