E-signature for proposals, built into the same link the client reads
The moment a client says yes should not depend on a printer. Every proposal and quote you send from ProposalCreation can be signed inside the same web link: the client reads, chooses optional add-ons and signs. Signatures are legally binding electronic signatures under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, and each signed document comes with an audit trail certificate.
How signing a proposal works
-
Add the signature block
the AI includes it in every draft, or you drag it into any proposal.
-
Choose signers
add one or several signers from the client side and from your side, and set a signing order if needed.
-
Send the link
each signer gets an email with a secure link to the proposal.
-
Sign in the browser
signers type or draw their signature on desktop or mobile, with no account and no download.
-
Get the signed copy
everyone receives the final PDF with the audit trail certificate attached.
Multiple signers and signing order
Larger deals need more than one signature. Add as many signers as the contract requires and decide whether they sign in parallel or in order, for example the client's project lead first, their finance director second and your managing partner last. Each signer is notified when it is their turn, and you see who has signed and who is still pending.
- Parallel or sequential signing
- Signers from the client side and your side
- Automatic notification when it is a signer's turn
- Status of each signer in the proposal list
Audit trail certificate on every signed document
The audit trail certificate records the events around each signature: when the document was sent, opened and viewed, who signed, the time of each signature and the email address used. It is attached to the signed PDF, so you can show the full record if a question ever comes up. Enterprise also keeps an account-wide audit log of sends, approvals and edits.
Signing accepts the quote and the chosen add-ons
When a proposal includes a pricing table with optional add-ons, the client ticks the extras they want before signing. The signed version records exactly what they chose and the final total, so there is no argument later about which version was approved. This is how our AI quoting software turns a quote into an accepted order.
Secure signing for your clients
Proposal links are unique and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Signed documents are locked against editing, and any change requires a new version and new signatures. Your documents stay yours: we do not train AI models on your proposals, and you can export or delete your data whenever you need to.
Why e-signature inside the proposal matters
- No separate signing tool and no second upload of the same document.
- The client signs while their interest is highest, right after reading.
- Signature status appears next to opens and section views in one place.
- With a CRM connected, the signed status syncs back to the deal.
